What we say
Tram style
Travel more than 8,000 feet in the air and up the mountains to see the desert from a whole new vantage point. The tram is also a great vehicle to bring you up for a nice hike down.

...when in PS taking the tramway ride-up is definite must...the view is just spectacular what an awesome-site good place to meditate...make sure you take lite-jacket cuz its rather chilly up-there...felt little light-headed but that's normal cuz of the altitude...you can hike-down if you choose (terrified of snakes well HELLO!!) so I rode down thank u very much...there's also little snack bar if your hungary...

The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway has rotating tramcars that give passengers 360 degree views going up and coming back down Mt. San Jacinto. The temperature at the top might be 40 degrees cooler than the temperature on the valley floor, so you might need a jacket if you plan to spend time at the top. The views of the Coachella Valley are very impressive. So why was I nervous? A few years ago, one of the tramcars got stranded about halfway up the mountain, and the passengers were in that hanging car for several hours. Finally an employee, who happened to be a passenger, figured out how to free the tangled cable. Um... I would have been really upset by the experience, since I have some fear of heights. But everything ended well on my trip. The views were great. I'm not sure I would do it again though.

This is a great scenic trip for anyone. Close to Palm Springs but...... straight UP! Windy and cold so take a jacket even in the summer time. Great views of the entire valley!

Not sure why I did this cuz I'm scared of heights so I was pretty scared. View at the top was good. When I rode down I kept my eyes closed. lol
So, what do you say?
