After growing up in Georgia, she moved to New York and graduated from NYU, magna cum laude, with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. She was cast on Broadway in the original revivals of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF with Rosie O'Donnell, Alfred Molina, Harvey Fierstein, and Lea Michele, and LES MISERABLES with Lea Salonga and Daphne Rubin-Vega. She also produced the Off-Broadway hit, ALMOST, MAINE.  Her TV and Film work includes a recurring role in SINGLE LADIES, THE CLIENT LIST, CSI:NY, GROOM'S CAKE, THE APPRENTICE, GIADA AT HOME, EASTWICK and Showtime's BELOW THE BELTWAY. She was a regular voice on the Cartoon Network series PUPPY IN MY POCKET and voices "Raquelle" on BARBIE LIFE IN THE DREAMHOUSE.  Her first album, HOW I ROLE, is available on iTunes, as well as new dance pop music! She has sung at Radio City Music Hall, Joe's Pub, Lincoln Center, The Tonys and The Academy Awards!  She co-created, co-wrote, and stars in the comedy web series UNICORN PLAN-IT. She was honored with the PowerUP Award for "Outstanding Woman in Showbiz," joining past winners Ellen Degeneres, Jane Lynch, and Rachel Maddow.
