International Bear Convergence (IBC), the newest winter event of its kind, premieres in Palm Springs, California on Presidents Day Weekend, February 13-17, 2014. Hosted at the beautiful Renaissance Palm Springs Hotel, known for the famed White Party, IBC is sure to make a big splash in the International Bear Community.
This five day event features four themed pool parties around the Renaissance Hotel’s expansive 24,000 square foot Grand Courtyard with a 5,000 square-foot heated pool. Party under palms, cabanas and outdoor lounges with fire pits and bars. This desert resort will come to life with DJs, live entertainment, and thousands of bears from around the globe. After the sun sets, evenings will heat up with three themed dance parties. Sunday offers a headline concert and dance that will be out of this world. The event features some of the top DJs from California, the United States and around the world.
IBC is the first winter event capable of hosting over 4,000 bears, muscle bears, cubs, chasers, chubs and admirers in Palm Springs. This gay oasis city offers premiere nightlife, casino action, fabulous dining, world-class golf and an aerial tram experience 6,000 feet above sea level. Known for its crystal blue skies and year-round sunshine, Palm Springs is the perfect holiday weekend destination and one of the only US cities that boasts an average temperature of 70 degrees in February.
