Transgender Day of Remembrance was founded in 1999, by Gwendolyn Ann Smith, since then it has become a global event held on or around November 20th of each year.
This is the Second Annual event hosted by Thomi Clinton, President and Founder of Transgender Community Coalition and Tdor Palm Springs. In the future, Palm Springs will have a Transgender Day of Remembrance Statue for the annual event.
Please come and be part of history in the making: http://www.transcc.org/tdor-statue-project.html
Please come to this peaceful candlelight vigil, that starts at 7 pm, to bring public awareness to the violence against the Transgender community and support the need to end violence and oppression against the Transgender Community.
