Tachevah, a Palm Springs Block Party

"Last year's free block party drew almost 10,000 people to an outdoor setting near the Spa Resort Casino. The city of Palm Springs is planning for more than that this year. Over the course of three years, more than 100 bands have competed for a chance to open for the Tachevah headliner. This year's acts include Alchemy from Indio and Caxton from Palm Desert, who won the first two Tachevah Band Showcases in Indio and Palm Desert. The third opening act will be chosen at Wednesday night's final showcase Bar, 340 N. Palm Canyon Drive in Palm Springs.
