Community Preview Open House

It has been over a year since we started this project and lots of discovery along the way. We're inviting the community to see what's happening at Grand Central Palm Springs. We are not open yet, so this is a quick walk (10-20 minutes depending on your interest on history points and questions) through of the space to see our progress. We look forward to shareing the food and bar menus in the weeks ahead. This is the location of the original Desmond's which opened in 1936 and closed in 2005. This space, which is over 7,000 square feet, was empty for over a decade. You’ll see some of the original details like the imprinted concrete floors which were covered with carpet and linoleum, the original clock and many other pre-modernism elements which were preserved in the process. Our hope is to blend the beauty of the past with the contemporary comforts of today (like lots of air conditioning!). We hope you can stop by and take a look. (We are not open yet, so no food or drinks) Our JOB FAIR begins right after this from 2pm-5pm. We hope to see you there!
