On World AIDS Day 2016 we salute the Coachella Valley's Everyday Heroes for their dedication in helping to end the HIV/AIDS epidemic. -- This year’s Honorees are: Larry Edwards aka Pinkie Meringue Shimmer, DAP Volunteer and fundraiser Mike Thompson, Executive Director, The LGBT Community Center of the Desert Linda Stevens, Desert Regional Medical Center JoAnn Morford, Desert AIDS Project Volunteer -- Your Host for the Evening: Jason Graae has starred on Broadway in “A Grand Night For Singing”, “Falsettos”, “Stardust”, “Snoopy!”, “Do Black Patent Leather Shows Really Reflect Up?”. Off- Broadway shows include “Forever Plaid”, “Olympus on My Mind”, “All in the Timing”, “Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh (Drama Desk Nomination- Best Actor in a Musical)” and many more.
