The new owners of The Desert Bear have created a clean, friendly, fun atmosphere. Former guests speak of owners Denny and Paul as if they are old friends. A great place for Bears!

Unexpected Gem

I have to admit that I was not expecting to enjoy this hotel. I stayed here with a friend and had serious reservations. I honestly can say that I was pleasantly surprised. The people were some of the nicest, most down to earth of any Gay resort I have stayed. The crowd consists mainly of Bears and Chubs leaning more towards Chubs, but very nice people. The rooms were updated and very clean. I will be back here again.
