Chestnutz

The owner is a total anal retentive prick. The crowd was older mid 60's, not that there is anything wrong with that, but these must be the ones that the CCBC rejected. They constantly leered, made cat calls and the weekend I was there they were re-seeding the grass and had all the grounds roped off and signs posted every couple feet telling you to stay off the grass. A sign or two or something a bit less would have done the trick without ruining the look of the place. Won't be back here again.

If you want a FRISKY atmosphere- Look elsewhere. If you want a QUIET relaxing atmosphere This is the place. Chestnutz is a small boutique clothing optional men only Inn. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance to downtown and many fine restaurants and bars. The owners Jim, Paul, and Bailey their beautiful Golden Retriever are wonderful hosts that set the tone of Chestnutz. It's a quiet, No attitude, laid back, relaxing place. During my 10 night stay, I'd estimate it was 90% couples to 10% singles. The Rooms, Pool, Jacuzzi and grounds are very clean. The unique dark bottom pool has some of the clearest water I've ever seen. There are an abundance of nicely cushioned lounge chairs surrounding the pool. You have your choice of being in full sun (sunrise to sunset) or in the shade under large umbrellas. The landscape has a very "Home like" look with beautiful flowers throughout. The rooms are furnished and decorated differently. I'd describe the furniture style as Time-honored Traditional. Gourmet breakfasts in the high season are fantastic. You can choose A la cart or opt for the breakfast of the day. I had the breakfast of the day-everyday. No two days are alike. Maybe you will luck out and get Eggs Benedict with the hollandaise sauce made from scratch using tree ripened Lemons from their own tree. YUMMY! They have a 24/7 honor bar located next to the pool stocked with various soft drinks. Complimentary coffee, tea and bottled water are also available 24/7.They have a large capacity Ice machine that was able to keep up with the demand of a sold out holiday weekend crowd with the temperatures over 100 degrees every day. I had a wonderful time. Chestnutz exceeded my expectations in every way. I will be back. Dave Seattle WA
