Agua Caliente Casino, Resort and Spa

Aqua Caliente has the nicest rooms of any of the many desert properties that I've tried. The disadvantage is the location. It's located in Rancho Mirage adjacent to the I-10 freeway at the Ramon Road exit. The drive into downtown Palm Springs takes about 20 minutes. But back to the facilities... the hotel is very new and the rooms are beautiful. My room was large and the furnishings were modern. There were 2 flat screen TVs--a large one in the sleeping area and a small one in the bathroom. The bathroom had a separate spa tub and shower. I didn't use the casino, so I can't comment on that, other than you definitely notice that they allow smoking in California's Indian casinos. If you're looking for a hotel with really nice rooms and don't mind the drive, this is an excellent choice.
