Supporting Gay business is a must for me - but Johnny's won't get mine. Just because you thought I was a one time tourist you were wrong. Service was poor, upcharged for seasoning on my fries $2.50 - had no idea, not a menu. Soda, $3.25, never got a refill. The people they knew received better service. Two burgers with fries, a soda for two $36.40, knowing I won't be back - PRICELESS!

Not the best place I've been to before or the worse place. But if its a hamburger you want go to McDonalds. At least there you get more bang for your buck.

I went to Bongo Johnny's after reading several bad reviews because I trusted a friends judgment. I think the early reviews were mostly due to staff issues and have seemed to work themselves out for the most part. The exception is the owner is a bit snotty, but hey. The food is tasty, the portions are large and the cost is reasonable. I will be back again.

Just returned from another week in Palm Springs. Visited Bongo Johnny's again, having been there on my last visit in May. Glad to see the service and quality has not changed one bit.
Very friendly staff. Great food, nice variety, and the best news...REASONABLE prices!!
Service available inside or out, although outside tables are usually full during the late afternoon and early evening. Didn;t do breakfast there, although the breakfast menu looks quite tasty..and prices aren't bad either!
Highly recommended.

Review update: I just returned from Palm Springs Pride weekend and ate at Bongo Johnny's again. It's exciting when the staff at a restaurant remember you and even know your drink before you sit down. If it's not too hot, eat on the patio. It's a great people watching spot and you will most likely run into someone you know if you live in So. Cal.
Prior review: I frequent Palm Springs about once a month and eat at Bongo Johnny's at least once each visit. Breakfast - Sandwiches, burgers or salads for lunch - full entree's for dinner (Yummy - that's why I keep me coming back). The staff is very friendly and accomodating here (indoor or patio seating). Oh, when you go, tell Travis (waiter) that Silver sent you. With all the yummy meals served here, I'll take Travis for dessert anytime. LOL. Enjoy.

Great Arenas location, rare and exotics drinks for those who know the real thing, excellent food and awesome servings. A must stop once a day!
So, what do you say?
