Worth the drive

Located a bit far from downtown, Toucans has everything else to recommend it. Toucans offers a fun tiki atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff, diverse patrons, small but effective dance floor, lengthy patio, and enough events to keep things interesting between weekend floor-fillers. All ages, types, genders, ethnicities, and stages of sexuality can be found here at any given time, moreso than any other gay business in Palm Springs, which is saying a lot!

Fun but crowded

I had fun here, but it is small and can get very crowded. Dance floor is very small and hard to maneuver in and around.

small place, bombass drinks!!!

its a fun, small bar. with a tiny ass dance floor. drinks are awesome and cheap for cali. if you dont mind the older crowd its a fun place for palm springs...

Known mostly for their drag shows

Sunday's appear to be the big night here, that's the night they have their weekly drag show. Other nights it's dancing and drinking. Toucans is well involved in the community, sponsors local events and all around good guy/gal sort of place. Staff is consistently good, and around the bar is almost always full. Large smoking patio which seems to be a big social hangout (I'm a non-smoker so I tend to view from a distance).
