Iris Williams (OBE) "I Wish You Love"

“As a native of Wales, known as the ‘Land of Song and Poetry,’ I was, and still am, very much drawn musically, and especially lyrically, to ‘The American Songbook.’ The lyrics are mostly stories of Love, Sadness, Happiness, Loss, and Findings. I enjoy interpreting those stories for my audiences in a way for them to understand the meaning of the lyric behind the music. I also enjoy experimenting with different interpretations at each performance.”

~ Iris Williams
