Sometimes "Dirty" Can Be a Good Thing!

The name says it all. DO NOT expect luxury rooms at Camp Palm Springs. The place is somewhat run down and dirty, but dirty can also be a good thing! This property has a dark room where the fun is filthy - - now that's MY kind of dirty!

Tired and dirty

This place has had no updating in 20 years. Very old, dirty, and uninviting. I DO NOT recommend it.

This place is HOT, but the rooms are not!

I have stayed at Camp Palm Springs three times, and had fun each time. My favorite place is that play room at the rear of the property. There was action in there 24/7. The age range of the crowd tended to be a bit older that some of the other resorts in Palm Springs, but that was OK with me. My guess is the age range is 30s to 60s. The nude sunbathing was great, and there is lots of cruisiness all over the resort. Some rooms are equipped for slings that are available for rent. The employees were very friendly, which is important in an intimate-sized resort like this. My one caution is this: do NOT expect a room like you would get at the nearby Hyatt! The furnishings are old and worn. And the cleanliness was not the best either. So go for the outdoor fun but not for a great room!

"Camp" is right

Definitely not upscale, but it's pretty decent for what it is. Has a campy 50's look to it, which kind of makes it endearing. But there wasn't a very attractive crowd there. Overall ok.
