The Barracks' naughty little brother
This small neighborhood leather-centric bar appeals to many of the same guys who frequent Barrack's, although there isn't enough room for a fraction of that Sunday beer bust crowd. Then again, Tool Shed is a bit more grope-minded than Barrack's, so the closed quarters and chain-linked indoor patio are part of the appeal. Deserted at most hours, pointless when too packed, but if there are just enough macho men cruising about, it can be a memorable afternoon/evening on Sunny Dunes...
Fun, but kinda small
I have fun here, but it is small and can get very crowded. Love the beer busts and special event nights.
VERY relaxing
Was close to my hotel and on GayCities.com so I thought I would check out...VERY nice bartender and one pool table. Good 80s music when I was there. Nice guys there. Age of crowd was 30-60. Smoking area if u need it. No food. Will go again.
Good DJ and a nice pool table
I find that pool is a gentleman's game and this is a nice place to unwind at.
A friendly leather bar
As a frequent visitor to Palm Springs- I find the Tool Shed to be one of the friendliest bars in the desert. The bartender, Charlie, remembers my drink, even after its been months since my last visit. Easy to strike up a conversation with another guy- and an interesting array of men to boot.
