Friday Happy Hour maybe but for dinner??...
Save your money. The food is ok not stellar and on the pricey side. The service? Mediocre at best. The place on Tuesday wasn't crowded yet it took a while to be greeted and order drinks. Took even longer to place our food order and about 30 minutes to finally get the food. To top it off one of the entrees was not what we ordered.
The GAYYYEST place in town on Friday night!!!
Vodka for $2.00 !
Everyday happy hour. OMG. And the appetizers are great.
Always great food
and they participate annually in the Dine Out for AIDS and are very generous. Great happy hour too.
5-Star Friday Happy Hour
Wang's has perfected the indoor/outdoor Friday evening cocktail-before-dinner/dancing event much like Park Manor Suite's "Top Of The Park" in San Diego (without those rooftop views of the bay, of course). Wang's offers a conversation-conducive though still festive atmosphere in a huge outdoor area and an equally inviting interior separate from the restaurant where many end up after a few (too many) drinks after happy hour(s). Others have a short walk to the heart of the gay district after Wang's finally dies down. Perfect as either a warm-up or for those not wanting to stay out too late on Friday. And the locals are all too willing to meet and chat with visitors.
Best chinese food, ambience and service in Palm Springs.
Food is typical Chinese but well prepared and priced right. Service is attentive but not intrusive. There is a formal dining room, fairly nice, and also a bar and a patio if you just want to drink or socialize. Secure parking lot in the premise. Location in downtown Palm Springs is also very convenient. Great experience and value.
Fresh and Delicious
Had Dinner at Wang's last night. The hot & sour soup was the best I have ever had. The Kung Pao Chicken was perfection! The dining room was modern and very clean. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Not one kid in the place made it an even better dining experience. Will go back everytime I am in town. *****
