the owner was very rude
This resort was nice upon appearance however the owner seems to be very friendly upon checking in but after that he is very very rude and acts very abrupt to all the customers and he goes against all of what he tells you about the place for things and starts wanting to be very mean and threatening towards everyone I would never recommend this resort to anyone or stay again due to his behavior. Once he has your money he changes his whole attitude I didn't believe the previous comments from other people so gave it a chance and they were all correct and I was wrong he is a very rude and unhappy person.
Don't bother
A friend and I stayed at the Bearfoot Inn for two nights in June 2017. While The main pool area was nice, there was junk debris outside the window behind our room and direcly beside the breakfast room. . Additionally, the light was out in the bathroom, the toilet paper holder was broken and the bathroom door didnt lock. The manager / owner also sexually harassed me by commenting on my crotch not once but twice when I was in my speedo which was off putting. We asked for a late check out past 11am (12pm is standard) on a Sun. morning and was told no because the maid was scheduled then. Then, we were told that we would have to pay the daily resort fee if we wanted to stay past 12pm. I have never expierenced this at any other place I have stayed. I have stayed at other places that were worth the money paid and were more accomodating. I felt after I had paid, I was pretty much thrown out. My advice, go elsewhere.
Cold and Sterile
I stopped in on a recent visit to PS to see this very small Inn. It does look freshly remodeled with a few bright orange umbrellas scattered by the pool. There was one person sunning by the pool on a cell phone otherwise it was very quiet. But honestly it does not have much charm and one of the Hosts who I spoke to was rather cold and uninviting when I stopped in for a quick tour for a future stay. He just said "go on our website" offered no tour of the grounds (perhaps because there weren't any) I don't think I'll be staying here. It also felt like the hosts were intrusive about the comings and goings of guests as their office was right in front of the pool. It just did not feel cozy...
Great Bear Resort in Palm Springs
This was our first time staying at the Bearfoot Inn. It was a fun place. The rooms were clean and completely remodeled. The pool and hot tub area has lots of sunlight and was alive with cute bears. It's within walking distance to the downtown bars and restaurants. We'd definitely stay there the next time we're in Palm Springs.
