Mixed group
This is my second visit to the Desert Paradise. The first one was back in November and there were a mixed group of singles and couples. The Age range was from 20 something to a couple who were in their 60's. Everybody was really nice, relaxed and NO attitudes. It definately IS NOT a bath house like some other places in the area. What I liked most was all it had to offer. Great staff, Steam room and Dry sauna, comfortable clean large rooms. I was in the Doris Day.. Great view of the Jacuzzi (more action at night). The Breakfast was really more than I expected. So much to choose from, not just toast, coffee and a Banana. We had really good weather and the staff was more than helpful with directions, suggestions and all around good people. We were there for a week and the only thing I didn't like was ... Nothing It really is a nice place to stay.. like I said NOT a bath house but we had fun at night on the grounds. I will be back for 3rd visit this July.
A little dated, but pleasant
The rooms are a little dated, but the resort itself is quite pleasant- and worth the price you pay. The grounds are beautiful- the pool heated and the dry and wet saunas a nice extra touch. The breakfast is disappointing (cheapest oj possible) but once again for the price you pay - ($150 a night) you're still getting your money's worth. Older crowd mostly and very friendly staff.
YOU CAN BE HOT AND OVER 35
A great intimate resort. Clean and well maintained. If you're looking for 24 hour non-stop action, look somewhere else. If you're looking for relaxing, social and a little flirty (okay, maybe I flirted a lot), this is it. One of the most relaxing weekend escapes ever. Ron is such a cool host. We'll be back soon.
Over rated, under fun
Octogenarian crowd, not great amenities (especially whatever complimentary breakfast there was), rooms are tawdry and ill equipped.
Nice, Clean, Friendly
Friendly management, pleasant sociable guests, nice and clean room. Great location on Warm Sands Drive. I would recommend this place.
