still a nice place

I have read all if the negative reviews and was concerned about stating here. Inn Exile is still a great place, though it could use a little remodling. The staff is very friendly! A great location. Three very nice pools! If you want action it's here. If you don't it's not pushed on you. Pretty cruisy here this week, I guess it depends on the crowd.

There are much better choices.

Ugly, empty, in need of remodeling and of improved service. Swimming pool cold. Bathrooms dark, and in need of improvement like the rest of the property. Only good things are the location and the size of the rooms.

still the best in Palm Springs

My last visit was in 2002 and wanted to go back. I have been really disappointed seeing all the negative comments on inn exile here so i made a reservation to all worlds instead. Big mistake! After a day i went to see inn exile to check and maybe move there. Yes inn exile still has a superb landscape and nice people happy to exchange a few words (or more depends on you... Honnestly nice specimens there from all over the world). The staff is also friendly. Yes the rooms might show some signs of age, might need some upgrade but cleanliness not a problem. but compared to the tackiness of all worlds i take it. Oh! Note that most rooms have nice terracota tiles so forget about those comments regarding dirty carpets...). Yes true, local cannot jump the fence anymore, i guess they had some problems at one point. Final note did not see any "for sale" sogn... Already sold? Maybe! this is such a nice place!

great place

I had a fun time here. The resort's atmosphere lends itself to night time fun...spend your day hiking somewhere in the great outdoors. My room was huge, and not overly decorated, which I appreciated. Just right. Staff here less uptight than neighboring resorts I found. I'd definitely stay here again.

Best Value on Warm Sands

I have stayed at Inn Exile about six time during the past three years. And I have never been disappointed. The rooms are always clean and quite spacious. The many suites and mini-suites are a great value. The nighttime traffic is lots of fun. Definitely recommend this place!!
